Sabor y Salsa

Hi! I'm one of the co-founders of Sabor y Salsa, a modern-meets-traditional Mexican food stall based in Louisville, CO, that is proudly family-run. Before launching this dream, I spent 7 years managing teams at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where I fell in love with the fast-paced, people-first side of the food world. I also spent 5 years in personal banking, helping people manage their money and build toward their goals.

For as long as I can remember, my parents, Luz and Javier, have dreamed of opening their own Mexican restaurant. My dad has always been a hard worker, balancing two jobs (sometimes even three) to support our family. From roofing under the blazing sun to working in a variety of kitchens, he's done whatever it took to provide for us and hone his culinary skills. My mom has worked just as hard, raising my three sisters and me, contributing to our family's well-being and financial support, while all being Louisville Natives.

Now, with Sabor y Salsa, we're combining our roots, experience, and passion to serve honest, flavorful food that reflects our roots and brings people together.
